Job Summary
Operate, inspect, maintain, and repair all mechanical, electrical, lighting, plumbing, and life safety systems while coordinating outsourced vendor work to ensure timely, quality results. Serve as the primary contact for tenants by responding to service requests, monitoring building automation systems, and managing HVAC adjustments. Coordinate on-site construction activities, maintain facility inventory, and ensure compliance with governmental regulations including ADA, CFC, and OSHA standards. Assist the Property Manager in budgeting and bid processes while interfacing with the leasing team. Based in Fairfax, VA, this role requires 5+ years of experience and proficiency in Microsoft software.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of direct or related experience and/or equivalent experience/education
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, manage time effectively, establish workflow priorities and work independently
- Able to physically perform duties at the speed, mobility, and force necessary to the task
- Proficient in Microsoft based software
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Prior employment history that demonstrates the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment while managing multiple tasks and priorities, producing accurate results in a highly organized manner
