Job Summary
Senior Engineer in Preventive Quality responsible for feasibility reviews with project team and ensuring customer specifications are reflected within the product and relevant processes. Manages launch timing and ensures on-time PTR&IRR. Initiates risk evaluation with PM/core team to mitigate and track progress through project life. Provides feedback to internal project team to ensure design is manufacturable. Conducts PMA with project core team regularly. Supports D/PFMEA, Control Plan and capability monitoring concept development according to customer requirements to secure robust processes after PPAP. Supports VC ProMAP core team meetings and ensures on-time delivery of each GR. Initiates Lessons Learned activity for each project and follows up through each project phase. Fluent English desired.
Required Qualifications
- Education: bachelor degree, engineering major preferred
- Preferred 5 years automotive experience in Development and/or Quality function of customers; understanding of customer processes (customer portals) recommended but not mandatory
- Project Management skills, problem solving, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, quality core tools (SPC; MSA; APQP; FMEA; PPAP)
- Quality Management System, auditing experiences (VDA6.3, CQI)
- Fluent English desired
