Job Summary
Assist in internal projects and provide the Management Team with specialist advice on pressure systems. Conduct auditing of Engineer Surveyors and internal systems to ensure compliance, while preparing and revising Inspection Services Quality and Technical documentation. Manage the QA process for auditing reports and prepare reports, bulletins, and guidance to maintain appropriate standards. Identify new and revised legislation, codes, and standards, and develop technical training courses and client seminars. Investigate areas for new business opportunities and fee-earning work, and handle investigations of complaints including potential professional indemnity claims. Represent ZEIS on technical committees at SAFed and other external bodies as required. This hybrid role splits time between Technical Manager and Engineer Surveyor duties, with primary work in Ireland.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of HNC in a related discipline
- A minimum of 5 years appropriate relevant experience
- Thorough knowledge of statutory inspection services
- Good organisational, managerial and interpersonal skills
- Good presentation, team working, work management and project management skills
- Knowledge and understanding of ISO17020
Desired Qualifications
- Incorporated Engineer an advantage but not a necessity
