Job Summary
The Senior Engineer will be involved in Power Substation Physical Design, requiring extensive experience in Power Substation Engineering Design within the US Power industry, with a focus on designs ranging from 34.5K to 500kV. Responsibilities include performing detailed physical designs, using MicroStation software, mentoring junior Engineers/Designers, and ensuring designs meet safety and quality standards. A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is mandatory, supported by 8-14 years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- BSEE or BSME from an ABET accredited University
- 8 - 14 years of experience in the power utility industry
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with Bentley MicroStation
- Familiarity with Autodesk Inventor
- Registration as a licensed Professional Engineer
