Senior Engineer - Monetization

Senior Engineer - Monetization responsible for designing, building, and owning backend services and APIs end-to-end, collaborating on frontend experiences, and turning ambiguous problems into well-defined technical plans. Duties include authoring design/architectural documents, mentoring other engineers, and participating in on-call rotations. Candidates should have strong backend experience (5+ years typical), proficiency in at least one backend language (Go and/or React experience noted), experience with relational databases, greenfield development, and familiarity with AI/LLM technologies, data modeling, Kafka or other distributed systems, and scalable, high-performance software. The role is based in San Francisco with a largely hybrid work model and an estimated salary range of $181,220–$217,464; relocation is not offered.
