Job Summary
Senior Engineer for Microsoft environment at AHEAD in India. Responsibilities include administering and managing Exchange Online services (mailboxes, groups, rules, policies), implementing security and authentication measures (Defender for Office 365, Exchange Online Protection), diagnosing and troubleshooting mail-flow issues, monitoring performance and availability, and conducting audits. Identity lifecycle management in cloud/hybrid environments (secure sign-on, MFA, Azure seamless SSO, application registration) with policy enforcement (conditional access, device compliance, PIM, RBAC). Collaboration with cross-functional teams to integrate Exchange Online and identity management with other IT systems; provide end-user and IT staff training; lead IT projects related to email and identity management. Preferred Skills include relevant certifications, migration from on-premises Exchange to Exchange Online, and knowledge of IT security standards and compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 9+ years of experience in managing Exchange Online, Azure, identity management solutions (Intune, Teams, and the M365 stack)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Exchange, Azure Active Directory, and other identity management technologies
- PowerShell scripting for automation and administration
- Experience with cloud technologies and hybrid environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., MS-220, MS-100, MS-200, MS-300, MS-500, MD-101, AZ-140)
- Experience in migrating on-premises Exchange to Exchange Online
- Knowledge of IT security standards and compliance regulations
