Job Summary
The Senior Engineer - MES is responsible for conducting engineering analysis, simulations, and modeling to optimize designs and manufacturing processes. Key duties include identifying process improvement opportunities, maintaining documentation, providing technical support, troubleshooting, developing Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and SCADA applications, and integrating front-end business systems to production MES. The role also involves establishing databases, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety protocols. A Bachelor's degree in engineering with relevant experience is required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering required with typically 5+ years of relevant experience
- master’s degree in engineering required with typically 2+ years of experience
- PhD in Engineering required with 0 years of relevant experience
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Capable of managing multiple projects
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledgeable with manufacturing processes and materials
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated engineering experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment preferred
- Proficiency in AVEVA Wonderware
- Microsoft Server Management Studio (SQL)
- .Net a plus
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles a plus
- Proficiency in relevant software tools for engineering and data analysis
