Job Summary
Implement and maintain automation solutions for manufacturing operations, leading capital equipment projects from planning through execution. Troubleshoot, repair, and optimize manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime while driving process improvements focused on efficiency, capacity, quality, and cost reduction. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on equipment, process, and product development activities, ensuring full compliance with GMP requirements, validation standards, and documentation practices. Provide technical expertise, training, and support for manufacturing processes and equipment within a regulated environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field
- 5-10 years of experience in manufacturing, automation, or process engineering
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills
- Hands-on experience with manufacturing equipment and process optimization
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and manage multiple priorities
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of automation technologies such as PLCs, vision systems, or industrial controls
- Experience with GMP validation, technical writing, Good Documentation Practices (GDP), design reviews, or CAD
