Job Summary
Senior Engineer with expertise in leading mechanical, hardware, and infrastructure design and analysis for defense-related facilities. Responsibilities include evaluating and improving production processes using LEAN, Six Sigma, and AFSO-21; managing facility modifications with AutoCAD; designing and analyzing mechanical and RF components; performing thermal and mechanical stresses, obsolescence assessments, and DoD-guided design work; preparing and maintaining design documentation; conducting project management across programs; and ensuring compliance with OSHA, DoD Technical Orders, and government requirements. Requires ABET-accredited BS in Engineering and at least 4 years of relevant experience; may require motor vehicle and government security clearances; physical ability to perform duties and operate within protective equipment. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited school
- minimum of four (4) years’ experience in applicable field
- valid state driver’s license when required by job assignment
- valid government driver’s license when required by job assignment
- commercial driver's license (CDL) with hazardous material endorsement when required by job assignment
- Industrial Security Clearance as required by Government
- OSHA knowledge applicable to safe design and improvements
- ability to work with required materials with PPE
