Job Summary
Senior Engineer, Maintenance Engineering in Kaohsiung, Taiwan responsible for the maintenance, repair and service of all plant equipment/facilities for the KSP. Develop, maintain, and execute Total Preventive Maintenance and Predictive Maintenance programs for all equipment; coordinate and assign maintenance staff and foreman to proper job per abilities and establish work teams; coordinate and ensure maintenance for all equipment related to manufacturing; coordinate and install automation equipment; ensure repairs for electric, pneumatic and hydraulic circuits; oversee mechanical repairs and schedule modifications to equipment; update the maintenance work order system and daily updates; maintain a clean and safe work area; wear PPE and communicate hazards; provide training and performance feedback; adhere to policies and budget; conduct monthly shift/departmental meetings; monitor department metrics and Lean displays; perform 6S activities and audits.
Required Qualifications
- Junior college graduate and minimum of a 3 year Technical College degree in equipment maintenance repair, troubleshooting, electronics or related fields preferred
- Maintenance experience in a plastic injection-molding lean environment is requested
- Ability to read and understand maintenance instructions, hydraulic prints, electrical schematics and logic circuits
- English communication ability
