Job Summary
Senior Licensing Engineer with nuclear engineering experience to support licensing efforts at the Detroit Edison Fermi nuclear station. Prepare and review licensing documents, regulatory correspondence (NRC), and licensing procedures; assess safety analyses impacts of plant modifications; stay informed on regulatory trends; ensure regulatory compliance and environmental/QA positions; support License Amendment Requests and 10 CFR 50.59/72.48 evaluations; must be able to obtain unescorted access to nuclear facilities.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in nuclear engineering or a related engineering discipline
- 10 years licensing experience
- Professional Engineering (PE) license in US (preferred)
- Must be able to obtain unescorted access to nuclear plants and facilities requiring background checks
Desired Qualifications
- Professional Engineering (PE) license in US (preferred)
- Nuclear engineering experience
- 10 years licensing experience
- US Citizenship or Permanent Resident
- Ability to obtain unescorted access to a Nuclear Power Plant
