Job Summary
Perform distribution planning and design services for medium voltage overhead and underground power distribution systems, including scope analysis, schedule adherence, and engineering-quality drawing preparation. Provide technical oversight to solve complex problems with minimal supervision, review field notes and designs, and assist with pole loading analysis and equipment sizing. Conduct site visits to inspect, measure, and verify designs, requiring occasional travel to various worksites around the U.S.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field
- Three (3) years of electrical engineering experience in distribution design and quality control
- Experience utilizing technical software such as Maximo, BOUD, SEDS, and PoleForeman
- Occasional travel to various worksites around U.S. to perform site visits to inspect, measure and verify designs
