Job Summary
Senior Engineer at Johnson & Johnson Vision Care in Jacksonville, FL. Provides expert technical guidance to operations by leading troubleshooting for sophisticated systems (PLCs, Vision Systems, Robots, Servers, HMIs), oversees complex code and program modifications for control systems, plans and executes change control projects, qualifying new equipment/controls, supports vendor/testing activities, mentors interns/co-ops, collaborates with safety/quality/operations, and drives continuous improvement in manufacturing and electrical/safety engineering domains.
Required Qualifications
- University/Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent
- 6 to 8 years of experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in an empowered work team environment
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement complex code modifications for industrial control systems
- Experience with Allen-Bradley and Siemens industrial control systems (preferred)
- Experience with FactoryTalk, Wonderware, AB Studio 5000, Power BI, Ignition (preferred)
- Ladder Logic, Python, Structured Text, Function Block Diagram (preferred)
- Experience with motion devices and machine vision systems
- ISO and FDA regulated environment experience
