Job Summary
Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based automated test frameworks and reusable automation components for ASX Trade and related market platform changes. Build and maintain automated testing pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, plan and execute system, integration, regression, and operational readiness tests, and validate market data and order flow across FIX, ITCH, and OUCH protocols. Manage defects, document results for release sign-off, and collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to promote shift-left testing. Requires 7-9 years of automation testing experience, strong Java and Python skills, and the ability to work independently within a hybrid environment.
Required Qualifications
- 7-9 years of automation testing experience
- API and integration testing across different protocols
- Strong Java automation experience
- ability to build reusable libraries, utilities and maintainable frameworks
- Good working knowledge of Python
- ability to extend or support Python-based frameworks
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
