Job Summary
Senior Engineer – ITS & Intelligent Mobility responsible for delivering ITS design and advisory solutions across transport infrastructure projects in Western Australia. You will contribute to advisory engagements such as MRWA ITS Masterplans and C-ITS initiatives, apply knowledge of smart motorways, connected vehicles, signals and emerging transport technologies, and work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, technically robust outcomes. The role includes supporting business development and bids, building trusted client relationships, and contributing to strategic planning to expand ITS capability and market presence. Requires a degree in Engineering (or equivalent), Chartered status or progress toward it, and typically 5+ years of ITS/intelligent mobility experience with Australian ITS standards; strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills; and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
Required Qualifications
- A degree in Engineering or equivalent
- Chartered status (or working towards)
- Typically 5+ years’ experience in ITS, intelligent mobility, or related electrical/systems engineering
- Experience working with Australian ITS standards and transport technologies
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams and stakeholders
- Exposure to client engagement and/or supporting business development activities
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a passion for innovation in transport
