Job Summary
Senior IT Engineer responsible for in-person Bengaluru office coverage and India time-zone execution across End User computing, infrastructure, endpoint, identity and core enterprise services. Role blends technical operations with modernization, automation, and continuous improvement; collaborates with global IT Delivery Services peers, Cloud, and Security teams to ensure a hybrid environment that is resilient, scalable, and compliant with SOC 2 and ISO 27001. Key duties include in-person IT support for the Bengaluru site (break/fix, hardware, imaging, AV, network/Wi‐Fi), incident/request/change coordination across time zones, onboarding/offboarding logistics, vendor management, infrastructure operations spanning AWS and on-prem/VDC, identity and access management, patching and encryption in coordination with Security, endpoint deployment via Microsoft Intune/Endpoint Manager (Autopilot) including macOS via JAMF, asset lifecycle management, ITSM processes, automation and IaC (Terraform), and driving security/compliance controls and observability enhancements.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, systems administration, endpoint engineering, or enterprise IT operations
- Strong hands-on experience with Windows, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
- Experience with Microsoft Intune/Endpoint Manager (Autopilot, compliance, configuration, patching workflows)
- Networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi, VPN, firewalls)
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues across endpoint, identity, network, and service layers
- Experience with ITSM processes (incident/change/problem management)
- Strong documentation/runbooks
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
