Job Summary
Senior Engineer responsible for executing Invesco’s enterprise vulnerability and security patch management across hybrid and cloud-native infrastructure. Emphasizes automation-first engineering, high-fidelity data, and AI-assisted prioritization to enable faster, smarter remediation across complex environments. Collaborates with infrastructure, cloud, and platform engineering teams, and global security teams; acts as subject matter expert on security patch deployment methodologies; drives metrics, compliance reporting, and continuous improvement; mentors team members and supports audit responses.
Required Qualifications
- 8-10+ years of infrastructure security experience
- Experience in Microsoft Operating Systems and MECM (Microsoft Endpoint Manager)
- Experience with CISCO networks
- Experience with UNIX/Red Hat Linux
- Minimum 5 years in financial services industry
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in a global enterprise
- Experience with security tooling (Wiz, Qualys)
- Designing and implementing automation pipelines for patch orchestration, validation and reporting
- Ability to leverage AI/ML techniques to identify and forecast vulnerability risks
- Experience prioritizing remediation plans based on risk scores and compliance
- Proven scripting/automation skills (PowerShell, Python, Microsoft Power Automate)
- Familiarity with ITIL framework and change management processes
- Experience building and interpreting vulnerability data and metrics (PowerBI encouraged)
- Ability to provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure/M365) and on-prem environments
- Knowledge of vulnerability scoring mechanisms (CVSS, EPSS)
- Experience with asset discovery, data enrichment, and remediation coordination
- API-first mindset and use of automation to enable enterprise-wide deployments
- Ability to work across cross-functional teams including infrastructure, cloud, platform, and security teams
