Senior Engineer - Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Service - Moldova

Job Summary
Lead Engineer for the Infrastructure as Code (IaC) service within the SNI team, owning architecture, code structure, and technical direction. Hands-on developer working with automation code (Ansible, Python, scripting) to enable automated, reproducible, and secure provisioning of IT infrastructure for engineering, test, and project environments. Collaborates with the Service Owner and stakeholders, mentors other contributors, and drives fast, reproducible deployments, standardization, security hardening, and policy-based configurations. Relevant scope includes bare metal provisioning (Dell servers, firmware, RAID, iDRAC hardening), Hyper-V, Windows OS deployment and customization, Active Directory (DCs, OUs, GPOs, CIS hardening), and application deployment for full test environments (OLS, SIT). Tools include Ansible and AWX. Nice-to-have: security hardening and policy-driven setups; DevOps/SecDevOps experience in enterprise environments.
Required Qualifications
- Strong background in infrastructure automation/platform engineering
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code
- Comfortable with Windows-based environments
- Engineering mindset: structure, quality, maintainability
- Able to take technical ownership and work across teams
- Experience with automation tools (Ansible) and scripting
- Experience with Hyper-V, iDRAC, Dell server provisioning
- Active Directory (DCs, OUs, GPOs) and CIS hardening
- Experience deploying applications and managing test environments (SIT/OLS)
- AWX as automation orchestrator
