Senior Engineer, Global Facilities - Chemical & Slurry

Job Summary
Develop safe, reliable designs for Chemical and Slurry systems ensuring material compatibility with all chemicals used. Create, review, and maintain corporate equipment specifications, engineering standards, and design guidelines. Advise sites on system capacity, load projections, and scenario-driven impacts while providing technical feedback on infrastructure modifications. Supply Micron standards to design partners, conduct timely reviews of design packages, and coordinate with Facilities, Design, Construction, Procurement, and Manufacturing to ensure project alignment. Lead technical evaluations including FMEA, mitigation of single-point-of-failure risks, and ownership of corporate facility documentation. Serve as a global subject-matter expert supporting Operations, Maintenance, and Manufacturing with risk analysis and system optimization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience working with high-purity chemical systems (semiconductor or related industry)
- Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent tasks
- Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes and facilities systems
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally
