Job Summary
Senior Engineer focuses on developing the non-pipeline alternatives (NPA) assessment process and continuing to develop digital assessment tools, while partnering with asset engineers to integrate climate compliance into the risk-based asset management strategy. Responsibilities include collaborating to identify process enhancements for NPAs related to gas infrastructure investments, supporting development of NPA and Integrated Energy Planning (IEP) software applications, implementing NPA frameworks and IEP best practices, supporting networked geothermal and targeted electrification initiatives, and contributing to decarbonization efforts through regulatory filings, white papers, and research. Required skills include engineering expertise, strong communication, proficiency with MS Office, and experience with data systems, SQL, Python, and cloud/enterprise platforms; a valid driver’s license is also required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (ABET-accreditation preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in an engineering or technical project role
- Valid driver’s license
