Job Summary
Senior Engineer - Full Stack leading design, development, and support of scalable web applications across UI, API, backend, batch, and database layers using React, Java, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Node.js, and SQL. Translate business and functional requirements into end-to-end technical solutions, provide technical direction and solution leadership, ensure alignment with architecture and security requirements, and drive continuous improvement. Lead the development of responsive front-end components, design and support RESTful APIs, manage batch processing with Spring Batch, optimize SQL queries, and mentor engineers to promote reusable patterns and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience
- 8+ years of progressive experience in full stack application development, including front-end, API, backend, batch, and database development in enterprise environments
- Strong hands-on experience in Java development for enterprise applications, including object-oriented design, application architecture, secure coding practices, and scalable solution design
- Proven experience building and supporting applications using Spring Boot and Spring Batch, including backend services, batch processing, job scheduling, and business workflow implementation
- Strong front-end development experience using React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to build responsive, scalable, maintainable web applications
- Strong SQL and database development skills, including writing complex queries, joins, stored procedures, data analysis scripts, and performance-tuned SQL
- Preferred qualifications include experience with API management, middleware integrations, and event-driven or asynchronous processing patterns
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including deployment and support of web applications in cloud-based environments
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated build and deployment tools, and DevOps practices that support reliable software delivery
- Experience leading design reviews, code reviews, technical planning sessions, and solution discussions for enterprise application initiatives
- Experience mentoring developers, promoting engineering standards, improving code quality, and contributing to application modernization or platform improvement initiatives
