Job Summary
Develop the map site, account management system, and other websites supporting what3words' offerings using React, TypeScript, and JavaScript. Collaborate with product and UX teams to refine designs, conduct feasibility checks, and integrate fresh ideas for better user experiences. Build responsive interfaces for desktop, tablet, and mobile while working independently on RESTful web APIs. Join a collaborative Agile team in Ho Chi Minh City, with options for up to two days of remote work or a six-week annual remote allowance.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience with ES6, TypeScript, React, HTML, CSS
- Excellent communication skills in verbal and written English
- Solid track record of building responsive sites for desktop, tablet and mobile
- Knowledge of Next.js, Google Maps or Leaflet, GIS systems, AWS, Kubernetes, or similar systems
- Experience of Agile working environments
- Good experience of building sleek user interfaces on top of RESTful web APIs, using React, JavaScript, CSS
- You will be able to work independently, self-motivate, collaborate well with others and keep calm under pressure
- The role is based in our centrally located HCMC office
- While you can work from the office five days a week if preferred, our Engineering team can choose to work up to two days a week from home
- We also offer a six-week remote-work allowance; for up to six weeks a year, you can work from anywhere in the world (as long as you've got great WiFi and are happy to work with your main office timezone)
