Senior Engineer, Fire Protection - Data Center

Job Summary
Lead Fire Protection and Suppression system design for mission-critical Data Center projects, acting as the primary technical interface with clients and global stakeholders. Own the complete lifecycle from Fire Strategy and Basis of Design through IFC documentation, construction support, testing, commissioning, and authority approvals. Deliver hydraulic calculations, system performance validation, and code-compliant designs for hydrants, pre-action systems, clean agents, and BESS protection while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams. Manage QA/QC, mentor engineers, and ensure adherence to NBC, NFPA, FM Global, and Uptime Institute standards.
Required Qualifications
- BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Fire Engineering
- 10–18 years of experience with a minimum of 5 years in Data Center or Mission Critical projects
- Extensive experience in Data Center Fire Protection Systems including hydrants, wet risers, pre-action systems, clean agent systems, water mist, fire pumps, fire water storage, hydraulic calculations, fire engineering and mission-critical redundancy philosophies (N, N+1, 2N)
- Strong understanding of Data Center design, Uptime Tier III/IV requirements and hyperscale facilities
