Job Summary
Conduct detailed failure analysis using Auger, XPS, SIMS, 4PB, nano-indentation, and XRD tools to interpret data, prepare reports, and document root causes. Maintain FA operating procedures, training materials, and certification specifications while ensuring equipment upkeep and lab safety standards. Provide FA guidance and support to Fab Operations and TD for process characterization, yield improvement, and customer-returned failure analysis. Develop new failure analysis techniques to support emerging technologies. Perform all activities in compliance with Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or science
- At least 5 years of relevant experience
- Experience with SIMS, Auger, XPS, and other failure analysis techniques
- Ability to collaborate effectively with others
- Strong interest in IC failure analysis
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
