Job Summary
Design low voltage switchboards, power distribution systems, emergency power setups, and lightning protection installations while detailing lighting and power layouts. Coordinate design efforts with project managers and senior engineers to ensure compliance with relevant standards and procedures. Prepare and participate in design reviews, manage major aspects of electrical design, and mentor junior engineers. Apply AutoCAD, REVIT, Dialux, and Febdok to deliver optimized solutions for buildings, transport, and energy sectors within Ramboll's global network.
Required Qualifications
- B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
- 4 to 8 years of professional experience in the relevant field
- Bachelors in electrical engineering
- Knowledge of electrical design parameters
- Knowledge of electrical load calculations
- Knowledge of short circuit calculations
- Knowledge of earthing
- Knowledge of voltage drop calculations
- Experience in Electrical Load Calculations
- Experience in Short circuit calculations
- Experience in Earthing
- Experience in Voltage drop calculations
- Must possess professional English language skills (written and verbal)
- Must be able to communicate clearly with drafting team by sketches
- Must be able to work in a team and support, mentor and develop junior engineers
- Must have flexible attitude, in an environment with frequently changing deadlines and can be relied on to meet deadlines
- Should be passionate about engineering with an attitude of absolute intolerance for non-compliance in relation to people safety, environment or product quality
- Must be able to coordinate design efforts with all other groups
- Must be able to maintain project records
- Must be able to ensure compliance with relevant standards and procedures
- Must be able to prepare and participate in design reviews
- Must be able to manage major aspects of the electrical design of projects
- Must be able to act as Electrical Lead/Sub-lead, depending on the scope of the project
- Must be able to be responsible to both the Project Manager and the Senior Engineer/Technical Manager/Principal Engineer for the organization, production, and quality of work
Desired Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD
- Strong knowledge of REVIT
- Strong knowledge of Dialux
- Strong knowledge of Navisworks/Solibri
- Knowledge of electrical design parameters, calculations such as electrical load, selection of equipment etc
- Experience in Electrical Load Calculations
- Experience in Short circuit calculations
- Experience in Earthing
- Experience in Voltage drop calculations
- Software Skills: AutoCAD, REVIT, Dialux, Febdok
