Senior Engineer - DevOps, Onsite
On-site · Springfield, Missouri, United States
Job Summary
Senior DevOps Engineer onsite in Springfield, MO, responsible for leading platform engineering efforts to own and optimize software delivery across hundreds of CI/CD pipelines, multi-region AKS deployments, and secure, observable, and resilient systems. Key duties include managing GitHub Actions pipelines and security scan gates, implementing GitOps with FluxCD/ArgoCD, packaging with Helm, and building IaC with Terraform. You will operate AKS clusters, manage secrets with Azure Key Vault, drive multi-regional traffic design with Azure Traffic Manager and Akamai edge policies, and maintain observability through Elastic Stack and OpenTelemetry. The role emphasizes security hardening (PCI DSS/CIS), pipeline security scanning, and end-to-end delivery improvements (blue/green, canary, rolling) across distributed environments. Strong scripting, Linux administration, and cloud networking experience are required, along with certifications and hands-on experience with Kafka, MongoDB, and Redis in production. This is a full-time onsite position with Bass Pro Shops, offering a comprehensive benefits package.
