Job Summary
Senior Engineer, Design Verification Engineering responsible for enabling verification of analog, mixed-signal, and digital circuits through behavioral modeling, SPICE-based verification, full-chip and digital verification. Develop and promote metric-driven verification practices, create and integrate SystemVerilog-based verification environments (SystemVerilog, UVM) using Cadence Xcelium or Synopsys VCS, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure on-schedule product delivery. Will support verification planning, resource tracking, debugging, and model integration into full-chip simulations; role emphasizes building robust verification infrastructure and ensuring accuracy and performance of verification efforts; telecommuting within the U.S. is allowed.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or closely related technical field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) with two (2) years of experience as a Design Verification Engineer or related occupation performing IC design or validation; or Bachelor’s degree in the same fields with four (4) years of experience as a Design Verification Engineer or related occupation performing IC design or validation; Demonstrated Expertise in Perl or Python scripting for data processing, data design creation, data collection, analysis, design automation tools controls, and input/output data formatting; Expertise with full lifecycle of design/verification including verification planning, test bench and test case development, architecture of coverage, and system debugging using Cadence Xcelium, Synopsys VCS or equivalent; proficiency with SystemVerilog, UVM, and coverage analysis; understanding of analog and digital circuits through prior work experience and coursework; ability to elicit and communicate complex technical details before stakeholders
