Job Summary
Senior Engineer role building scalable healthcare navigation platform with end-to-end ownership from design to deployment; stack includes Python/Django, React/Next.js, and Postgres; HIPAA-compliant, AI-enabled integration, greenfield development, and collaboration with operations and product teams to drive measurable patient outcomes; remote in the United States. Youâll own features across advocacy workflows, AI-driven task routing, billing-related processes, and security/compliance infrastructure, with emphasis on delivering impactful healthcare navigation tools and a fast-paced, high-velocity environment.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-stack development experience
- Proficiency in Python/Django, React/Next.js, and PostgreSQL
- Experience shipping features end-to-end from design to deployment
- AI-native mindset with experience integrating AI workflows into products
- Ability to build secure, HIPAA-compliant systems in a regulated healthcare environment
- Experience with RESTful APIs, relational databases, cloud hosting, and CI/CD
- Comfort working in high-ambiguity and high-velocity environments
- Strong ownership mindset and focus on measurable outcomes for patients
- Bonus: experience with EHRs, claims systems, or care coordination tools
- Bonus: DevOps skills including container orchestration, observability, and security hardening
- Bonus: experience as one of the first engineers at an early-stage startup
