Job Summary
Senior Engineer within the Data Migrations team responsible for building and improving internal tooling to onboard clients, including backend services, extractors and transformation logic, and migration pipelines. You will collaborate with migration specialists, review code, and ensure end-to-end solutions are reliable, scalable, and production-ready. Key technologies include JavaScript/TypeScript, NodeJS, APIs, React (optional across stack), databases, and cloud environments (AWS preferred). Bonus points for ETL/datasets experience, AWS Lambda/SQS familiarity, API integrations, and using AI tools to streamline development. You’ll own projects from start to finish, contribute to architectural decisions, and help deliver value to Smokeball’s customers in a cloud-based SaaS setting.
