Job Summary
Evaluate and improve value streams by designing lean systems, leading workshops, and executing improvement initiatives to drive top performance from the production system. Monitor lean metrics such as lead time and inventory levels while identifying root causes of issues to formulate action plans. Partner with Finance associates to quantify cost reductions and support New Product Introduction or legacy product ramp-up plans. Personally execute improvements and coach others in Lean concepts, ensuring adherence to process development, quality, and safety standards. This onsite role at Stryker PV in Irvine, CA requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, two years of relevant experience, and a certification in Lean manufacturing.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline
- 2+ years of relevant work experience
- Experience working in Medical Device or a highly regulated industry
Desired Qualifications
- Certification in Lean manufacturing
- Ability to identify waste, formulate action plans and drive improvement
- Shingijutsu methodology experience or similar
