Senior Engineer - Coastal

Job Summary
Conduct coastal and marine element design, including breakwaters, revetments, and artificial beaches, while performing high-level technical quality works and managing project budgets. Liaise with clients and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery, coordinate with multidisciplinary engineers for design continuity, and review contractor submittals for material and methodology compliance. Prepare design packages containing technical reports, drawings, calculations, BOQs, and specifications, ensuring all documents align with project objectives and regional standards. Requires 8+ years of experience in coastal engineering, proficiency in Delft3D, TELEMAC, and MIKE tools, and availability to travel within the Middle East.
Required Qualifications
- University Degree in Coastal / Oceanography/ Marine Structures Marine / Civil Engineering or related field
- 8+ years of related work experience in coastal engineering
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Consultancy work experience in the Middle East
- Experience in project management and proposal preparation
- Availability to travel within the Middle East as required
- Extensive Experience in the planning and design of coastal and marine structures including breakwaters, revetments, marinas, artificial beach, and islands, etc.
- In-depth knowledge of coastal modelling including hydrodynamic, waves and sediment transport modelling
- Experience with numerical modeling tools such as Delft3D tools, TELEMAC, SWAN, and / or MIKE by DHI suite
- Knowledge of marine and coastal engineering design standards and guidelines
- Professional level in using MS Office Suite
