Job Summary
Senior SAP FICO Consultant role within Carrier's Digital ERP CoE in India. Configure, support, and optimize SAP Finance and Controlling processes (FI components: GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting; CO components: Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Profit Center Accounting) with end-to-end integration to MM, SD and manufacturing. Gather requirements, participate in fit-to-standard workshops, design configurations, and support testing, UAT, cutover activities and post-go-live hypercare. Ensure statutory compliance and continuous improvement of finance processes. Requires 6–8 years IT experience in SAP FICO in manufacturing/enterprise environments and 4+ years delivering or supporting SAP FICO projects; strong client-facing experience and an Agile, customer-focused mindset.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6–8 years of information technology experience with hands-on responsibilities in SAP FICO within manufacturing or enterprise environments
- Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO project delivery or production support covering FI (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting) and CO (Cost Centers, Internal Orders, Profit Centers)
- Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance including integration with MM, SD, and manufacturing processes
- Experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in consultancy
- Agile-development mindset with customer-focus
- Experience configuring, supporting, and optimizing SAP Finance and Controlling processes, ensuring accurate financial operations and integration with business processes
- Ability to gather business requirements, participate in fit-to-standard workshops, translate needs into SAP designs
- Testing, deployment and hypercare support, post-go-live issue resolution
- Knowledge of statutory, audit and internal control requirements and financial reporting
