Job Summary
CAD Applications Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc. working in a collaborative, production-support role evaluating, improving EDA and debugging both in-house and commercial Electronic Design Automation tools and flows for Design Verification. Collaborate with Design and Layout teams to increase productivity and efficiency. Develop, deploy, and support robust, configurable, and scalable tools to enable hardware verification across multiple projects. Identify, gather, and analyze metrics for improved automation reliability and hardware verification performance. Role involves debugging vendor tool issues. Interacting with DV team to help solve their problems. Implement new functionality to solve emerging problems or to optimize existing methods.
Required Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Verilog and/or SystemVerilog
- Assertions
- Experience with Incisive/Xcelium, Synopsys VCS, or Modelsim
- Strong programming abilities in Python and/or PERL; TCL is a plus
- Experience with UVM, VMM, OVM and C or C++ a plus
- Experience in coverage management VMANAGER
- Familiarity with Verdi and/or Simvision is a plus
- Experience with front end web development and UI is a plus
