Senior Engineer - Building Structures

Senior Engineer in Building Structures at WSP based in London office. You will join the Building Structures team as a full-time Senior Engineer responsible for the technical design and delivery of schemes from inception through to handover to clients. You will develop innovative and sustainable designs for UK and international multi-disciplinary projects (high-rise, stadia/arenas, urban regeneration, healthcare, commercial & mixed use, data centres) and participate in tender bids and business development opportunities. You will contribute to fee agreements and project commercial position, exercise independent judgement to resolve technical issues, mentor junior members towards Chartership, and collaborate with other disciplines and clients to provide sustainable structural solutions, net zero carbon, MMC & DfMA approaches. The role includes leading design processes, managing risk and cost, and supporting colleagues across disciplines. A degree or HNC/HND in a relevant discipline is required, with Chartered status or progress towards it anticipated; experience with software such as ETABS, RAM Structural System, Tekla Structural Designer, Tedds, Revit, Rhino, and Grasshopper is expected.
