Job Summary
Senior Engineer in AUTOSAR/ADAS Base Software development for Front Camera systems. Responsibilities include embedded software development for automotive MCUs/SoCs, requirements analysis and authoring software requirements, UML-based software designs, AUTOSAR configuration and ARXML integration, software component (SWC) configuration, static code analysis, unit testing, and contributing to automation to improve efficiency and software quality. Required skills include strong AUTOSAR knowledge, automotive communication protocols (UDS ISO14229, CAN-FD, Ethernet, XCP, DoIP), Python/CAPL/Embedded C, experience with CANalyzer/CANoe/CANape, RCA, ISO 26262, ASPICE, and tools like IBM DOORS, PTC Integrity, and Azure DevOps. Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electronics or Electrical Engineering. Experience: minimum 3+ years in embedded software development. The role involves collaboration on OEM programs, end-to-end software ownership for ASPICE SWE.3/4, and exposure to Candela integration (Cdd). The position is based in Hyderabad, India with ZF India Pvt. Ltd. and emphasizes innovation, global collaboration, and career development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in embedded software development
- Good understanding of AUTOSAR concepts, tools, and module configuration
- Candela integration(Cdd)
- Strong knowledge of automotive communication protocols such as UDS(ISO14229), CAN-FD, Ethernet , XCP ,DoIP, Fault manager and NVM management
- exposure to Python, CAPL, and Embedded C
- Hands‐on experience with CANalyzer, CANoe, and CANape tools
- Proven expertise in code development, debugging, use of debugging tools, and RCA
- Basic understanding of ISO 26262 (Functional Safety), Automotive Cybersecurity, and ASPICE
- Experience or exposure to IBM DOORS, PTC Integrity, and Azure DevOps tool
