Job Summary
Plan, design, and review drawings and specifications for large-scale aviation projects including runways, taxiways, and aprons. Drive projects from inception to final delivery by analyzing GIS data, survey information, and geotechnical records to prepare construction phasing plans, grading strategies, and utility relocation schedules. Optimize airfield geometry, pavement markings, and apron stands while coordinating with stakeholders and other disciplines. Manage project scopes, budgets, and tender documents to ensure compliance with international aviation standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Airfield engineering and Airfield Planning
- Strong understanding of ICAO, FAA, EASA, and other local civil aviation authority standards and airport civil design principles
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and softwares like AviPLAN or equivalent software
- Excellent analytical, report writing, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency in spoken and written technical English, report writing and synopses
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree preferred
- International airport project experience preferred (Greenfield or Brownfield)
