Job Summary
Mentor and provide direct technical support for GE Vernova accessory and power plant systems, resolving ER cases, leading or supporting complex RCAs, and delivering technical guidance through customer engagements, webinars, and technical documents. Collaborate across Design Engineering, Chief Engineering Office, Product Safety Engineering, and cross-functional teams to provide timely resolutions, identify trends, and communicate risks to customers and internal stakeholders. Travel to customer sites as needed to support issue resolution; develop technical expertise across a broad range of accessory systems and plant equipment; drive root-ccause investigations and translate findings into actionable improvements across the fleet.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Minimum of 8 years of direct experience with GE Vernova/Alstom accessory and/or power plant systems
Desired Qualifications
- Strong communication skills across all levels, including field engineers, site engineers, plant managers, and leadership
- Willingness to travel to customer sites to support issue resolution
- Comfort with tackling unfamiliar technical problems and mentoring engineers in applying problem-solving methods under pressure
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities across multiple projects
- Humility, open, collaborative, and continuously learning approach
