Job Summary
Senior Engineer, Investments Technology at Invesco to design, enhance, and support the model delivery platform (including ECOS) that ingests, transforms, validates, and routes investment model content across multiple destinations. Collaborate with quantitative researchers, model owners, and downstream consumers to ensure timely, accurate, and scalable delivery of model data via destinations such as S3, FTP, email, websites, and internal systems. Develop and extend platform components, build SQL Server/T-SQL logic for data processing and validation, implement scalable Python services and microservices, and design/operationalize CI/CD pipelines. Maintain data quality, ensure traceability through logging/monitoring, participate in on-call rotation, and continuously improve reliability, performance, and maintainability. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of hands-on software/data engineering, SQL Server/T-SQL, Python, and AWS/DevOps experience. Salary range $135,000-$145,000 base/year for Atlanta, GA area with full-time employment and hybrid-work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on software or data engineering experience
- 3+ years SQL Server/T-SQL experience
- 3+ years Python experience
- Experience with data engineering concepts (data modeling, pipelines, validation, lineage)
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices
- AWS experience (Lambda, S3, Step Functions, Fargate, Aurora, Terraform) preferred
- Experience designing scalable systems and APIs for data-delivery use cases
- Ability to work with ambiguity and meet tight deadlines
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
