Job Summary
Conduct public consultation and stakeholder engagement activities for major UK infrastructure projects across water, health, energy, and environmental sectors. Write clear communications, organize events, and run surveys to help communities understand project impacts. Present feedback data in reports to support responsible project development and manage timelines, budgets, and resources for clients. Collaborate with senior specialists to create engaging materials including virtual consultation rooms, posters, and public-facing maps. Manage multi-disciplinary projects while delivering on legislative and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- You'll bring either a degree or comparable professional experience in a relevant field.
- Experience in one or more of the following sectors: roads, rail, utilities, water, environment, or energy.
- Experience contributing to or leading engagement activities on multi‐disciplinary projects, which may include: Supporting or developing stakeholder engagement approaches
- Experience contributing to or leading engagement activities on multi‐disciplinary projects, which may include: Delivering or assisting with consultations
- Experience contributing to or leading engagement activities on multi‐disciplinary projects, which may include: Analysing qualitative or quantitative data
- Experience contributing to or leading engagement activities on multi‐disciplinary projects, which may include: Contributing to reports that meet legislative or regulatory requirements
- Experience mentoring, supporting, or line‐managing colleagues is valued
Desired Qualifications
- Membership of a relevant professional or trade body is welcomed but not essential.
