Seeking a Senior Energy Assessment Engineer with a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and ten years of electric utility industry experience to conduct energy assessments, develop stakeholder relationships, and ensure adherence to reliability standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field
- Minimum ten (10) years of electric utility industry experience
- Experience in performing energy assessments and resource adequacy studies
- Proficiency with assessment software tools such as SERVM, GE-MARS, PLEXOS or equivalent
- Knowledge of transmission planning, power system modeling, steady state and transient stability studies, and short circuit studies
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with PSS/E, TARA, PowerWorld, or equivalent
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Additional Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Ability to travel within the U.S. and Canada
