Job Summary
Senior Energy Analyst responsible for developing energy transformation scenarios with our internal analysis tool, modeling energy systems (PV, e-mobility, BESS, heat pumps) in Excel and Python, identifying partner concepts and new business models, and mentoring a junior analyst. Works closely with the German team (client contact & project management) and Swiss analysts to identify and evaluate new revenue streams (e.g., flexibility markets or funding programs) and integrate them into offer structures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, economics, natural sciences or a related field
- at least 5 years of experience in a similar role or in the energy transition
- strong Excel skills
- fundamental Python knowledge for data analysis or modeling
- fluency in German and professional proficiency in English
- initial leadership experience or mentoring responsibility
- ability to work with cross-border teams (Germany and Switzerland)
- analytical thinking and structured, precise work approach
- ability to develop innovative, technically, economically, and legally sound business models
