Job Summary
Manage challenging building enclosure consulting projects and act as a senior client manager for key clients. Review project construction documents and existing buildings to identify enclosure problems, then prepare budgets, proposals, and reports summarizing methodologies and recommendations. Conduct regular walk-through observations of construction for compliance with contract documents and industry standards while attending design, pre-construction, and progress meetings. Mentor staff on technical and business issues and grow the business through business development activities. Periodically travel outside the Denver metro area for project assignments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors' degree and/or technical diploma in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related discipline, or equivalent of industry experience
- 10+ years of experience in building enclosure design and/or construction related work
- Excellent communicator, both verbal and written
- Understanding of the consulting engineering business
- Excellent leadership qualities to build relationships and collaborate within a Team, internally and externally
- Strong project management skills, including project budgets, scheduling, and Team management
- Knowledge of construction assemblies for a variety of construction systems
- Expertise in building enclosure technical issues
- Strong business development and marketing knowledge
- Industry recognized presentation skills
