Job Summary
Provide legal counsel and representation in employment litigation matters, defending clients against FEHA, Title VII, and related claims. Handle class actions, PAGA cases, trade secret disputes, and wage and hour claims while representing clients before state and federal administrative agencies. Maintain strong client relationships, serve as a trusted advisor, and contribute to business development. Present employment law trainings and seminars for clients and supervise associates. This role is based in Silicon Valley, Tri-Valley, or Peninsula offices with potential travel.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- Active membership in the State Bar of California
- Minimum of 8 years of employment law litigation experience
- Demonstrated success managing complex employment matters
- Strong analytical, negotiation, consulting, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Experience representing clients in court
- Experience representing clients in arbitration
- Experience representing clients before administrative agencies such as the EEOC, CRD, and DLSE
- Established or developing book of portable business
