Senior Employee Relations Investigations Partner

Job Summary
Conduct thorough, objective, and legally defensible investigations into employee complaints, grievances, and workplace concerns, including allegations of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and policy violations. Independently manage a broad portfolio of cases while coordinating with Legal and stakeholders to establish findings, analyze complex information, and prepare comprehensive reports with recommendations for corrective action. Advise concerned parties on findings, track resolution of agreed-upon actions, and provide expert guidance to HR Business Partners and junior specialists. Maintain accurate, confidential case documentation and develop training materials to support organizational compliance. Requires 5-7+ years of independent investigation experience, deep knowledge of employment laws, and proficiency with HRIS systems. Candidates must be comfortable with an on-site presence.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise conducting complex workplace investigations independently
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws
- Strong conflict resolution and mediation skills, with the ability to remain impartial and objective
- Excellent written communication skills and experience preparation of investigation reports and executive summaries
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with proven interpretive, evaluative, and constructive thinking abilities, along with strong logical and deductive reasoning abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to present salient facts, guidance, & recommendations, and communicate effectively at all levels of the company
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage high volume workload and competing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience in developing and/or delivering effective training material and/or programs related to employee relations and compliance
- Proven ability to think strategically and effectively work across a complex, matrixed organization
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and maintain strict confidentiality
- 5-7+ years of relevant workplace investigations experience gained in either an HR Business Partner role, Employee Relations role, applicable HR leadership role, or other equivalent experience
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Management, or equivalent practical experience required
- Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership
Desired Qualifications
- PHR or SHRM–CP preferred
- Multi-state experience preferred
- Strong working knowledge with HRIS systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Workday experience is a plus
