Job Summary
Senior Employee Benefits Account Manager to manage a book of employee benefits clients and serve as a trusted advisor on health, dental, vision, disability, and ancillary programs. Responsibilities include leading client service initiatives, guiding strategic planning and renewal discussions, conducting needs analyses, advising on benefits offerings, identifying cost-improvement opportunities, building proactive client relationships, and mentoring the service team to ensure high client satisfaction. Role requires 5+ years in employee benefits account management or consulting, and current Life & Health License. Location options include Maumee, OH (and the surrounding area referenced in the posting). The role involves coordinating with Benefits Consultants and Client Executives to deliver exceptional client service and tailored benefits programs across employer groups.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of employee benefits account management or consulting experience
- Experience in a brokerage, consulting firm, or benefits administration environment
- Current Life & Health License
- Strong knowledge of medical, dental, vision, disability, and ancillary benefits products
- Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship management skills
- Ability to manage complex client relationships and provide strategic guidance
- Leadership mindset with strong attention to detail and client service excellence
