Job Summary
Senior Embryologist with a biology background and at least four years of clinical embryology experience to perform daily QC, media and dish preparation, oocyte retrieval and denuding, embryo/oocyte thawing and freezing, fertilization checks, embryo transfers, PGT loading and interpretation, and supervision of embryology staff. Responsibilities include equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, QC/QA/QM/QI, cryopreservation and storage of specimens, interpretation of PGT reports, patient communication across web and phone channels, and participation in alarm-response and PTO scheduling. Requires strong communication skills, ability to multitask in a fast-paced lab, lifting up to 25 lbs, and proficiency with laboratory instruments (microscopes, pipettors, pH meters, CO2 monitors) to support IVF/IUI treatments in a Sarasota, FL setting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in biology, or related field
- At least four years of experience in clinical embryology setting
