Job Summary
Develop and implement server management features within the firmware framework, ensuring robust performance throughout the product lifecycle. Perform hands-on firmware integration from Alpha to Production on x86 platforms, analyzing system behaviors to identify bottlenecks and engineer solutions for complex issues. Create technical specifications and maintain quality standards to ensure system scalability while collaborating within a cross-functional team. Work effectively from New Product Introduction through the complete product lifecycle, defining next-generation server management architectures. Leverage AI tools to optimize development workflows and enhance code quality.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- 3+ years of experience in system firmware or software development
- Solid understanding of hardware-software interactions
- Proven understanding of x86 server architecture
- Linux experience
- Understanding of common networking protocols
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
- Collaboration effectiveness in English within a global team environment
- Proactivity in leveraging AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Agents) to optimize development workflows, enhance code quality, and improve efficiency
- Open Source Contribution: Active participation or development experience in OSP (Open Software Platform), OpenBMC, or OCP (Open Compute Project)
- Advanced understanding of server management architectures, including IPMI, Redfish, or complex BMC hardware-software interactions
- Practical experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
- Proficiency in C programming
- Embedded Linux environments experience
- Specialized insights into kernel-level optimization or driver-level development
