Job Summary
Senior Embedded Linux Engineer to join the development and maintenance of a commercial smart appliance platform used in professional high-speed ovens for restaurants and other food-service environments. The role covers embedded Linux, BSP, hardware integration, and Qt-based user interface development to support device configuration, diagnostics, cooking programs, and day-to-day operation. You will work across multiple software layers, from BSP and Embedded Linux platform support to application and UI development, contributing to new features, product enhancements, and overall system reliability. Collaboration with hardware, product, and software teams is required, with a focus on embedded systems, hardware-software interaction, and device operation workflows.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Embedded Linux development
- Strong proficiency in C++
- Hands-on experience with BSP (Board Support Package) development, customization, and maintenance
- Experience working directly with hardware and system integration
- Strong experience with Yocto and Linux build systems
- Experience developing applications using Qt
- Experience working with SQLite or similar embedded databases
- Good understanding of Linux system architecture
- Experience in debugging software, BSP, and hardware-related issues
- Experience working across both system-level and application-level software
- Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
