Job Summary
Senior Embedded Engineer sought to join Measur Connect Display AB (MCD) in Nyköping with hybrid work. You’ll be a central contributor to next-generation hardware, embedded systems, IoT, and AI initiatives, evaluating, integrating, and advancing sensors and communication devices, managing PLC systems for terminals/depots, shaping architecture and technical choices for the hardware/IoT platform, ensuring quality, robustness, and regulatory compliance, and collaborating closely with development teams, production, suppliers, and customer-facing functions. The role reports to the CTO and spans requirement gathering, concept, design, verification, deployment, and field stability. Ideal candidates have substantial hardware/embedded system experience, knowledge of electronics, familiarity with IoT protocols (e.g., Modbus, MQTT), testing and verification experience, understanding of regulatory and certification requirements, plus interest in AI applications on IoT data. Strong Swedish and English skills are required. Required Qualifications
- Fler års erfarenhet av hårdvara och embedded system
- Erfarenhet av IoT/kommunikation (t.ex. telekom, protokoll, sensorer)
- Van att arbeta med kommunikationsprotokoll och felsöka på enhetsnivå
- Praktisk erfarenhet av test, verifiering och felsökning
- Förståelse för certifiering/regulatoriska krav för elektronik/kommunikationsprodukter
- Intresse för hur AI/analys kan användas på IoT data
- Relevanta tekniska utbildningar eller motsvarande erfarenhet
- Mycket goda kunskaper i svenska och engelska
- Samarbetsinriktad och prestigelös
- Trivs i en kombination av operativt hands-on-arbete och mer strategiska beslut
