Job Summary
Senior Electronics Commodity Manager at Bloom Energy based in Newark, DE. Lead short- and medium-term strategies for assigned electronics commodities; ensure material availability for production and order fulfillment; drive cost reduction through negotiation, benchmarking, and should-be costing; manage supplier performance, audits, and QBRs; develop new suppliers and contract manufacturers; support technology transfer, DFM activities, and changes (ECN, NPI) while coordinating cross-functional teams; requires 25% travel and a strong technical and procurement background in electronics components (magnetics, semiconductors), cables, contacts, and connectors; proficient in PowerPoint and Excel; ERP experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- BS/MS/MBA in Electrical or Electronics Engineering/Technology or Supply Chain
- 10+ years of experience in supply chain, ideally with electronics commodities
- Technical background with knowledge of electronics components (magnetics, semiconductor components) and cables, contacts and connectors
- Experience in managing electronics contract manufacturers, Master Supplier Agreements, pricing negotiations and sourcing strategy
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; Spanish preferred
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel (formulas and macros)
- Familiarity with ERP systems and purchasing/planning functions desired
- Ability to work with vendors under rapid change environment
- High attention to detail and accuracy; high energy and self-motivated; team player
- Travel minimum 25%
